Job Share 18.5 hours (2 days a week one week and 3 days the week after).

West Yorkshire Police are recruiting for a Researcher to join their busy Integrated Offenders Management Team. This role is based at Shipley Police Station (or Shipley Town Hall prior to anticipated move to Shipley Police Station.)

The successful candidate will be required to assist with the smooth running of the team, having regular communication with various IOM partner agency colleagues and police colleagues, collating and maintaining various documents and Police computer systems, coordinating the clerical work required for the various partnership meetings and carrying out any research work on prolific offenders where required.

You will also be expected to complete relevant training on force computerised databases - including Niche, Corvus, PNC, PND, Micase, CARM.

You must be IT literate and competent in the use of computerised packages, including Microsoft office and Excel.

You must have good literacy skills, and experience within an office environment and be able to work unsupervised on a regular basis. Using your own initiative you will prioritise your own workload and work flexibly to suit the requirements of the team/department.

You must have experience within an intelligence environment and/or experience of research, good knowledge of computerised database and proven experience in analysing data.

To be successful in this role you must be willing and able to travel and work throughout the force area when required and successfully pass vetting to management level. You will also have a willingness to undergo regular Psychological Assessments if based in Abusive Images.
