West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit Digital Delivery Analysts to join the new Digital Policing (Information Technology) Directorate based at West Yorkshire Police Headquarters, Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to take up these new and challenging positions in our newly restructured Digital Policing function, with a clear focus on utilising the latest products from the Microsoft suite including O365, SharePoint, System Center Orchestrator, Bot Framework, AI, Cognitive Services, Power BI and cloud technology, you will be Joining an Agile team that adopts flexible working and the opportunity for some home working (after a trial period).

In this newly created role, you will work as part of a technical team professionally and effectively, using Agile project methodologies to deliver appropriate technologies and software solutions in support of Corporate and Departmental business plans. The role enables and supports continuous improvement projects delivering innovative digital customer experience, increasing customer value and eliminating waste and non-value adding activities to the business

Current Technologies utilised - SharePoint, PowerBI, System Center Orchestrator, MSSQL, Service Manager, .NET, JQuery among others.

To be considered for these positions, suitable candidates will ideally have proven relevant and practical experience in project delivery and a range of technical abilities, preferably but not explicitly some of the technologies mentioned above. A related Information Technology degree or equivalent will be considered in lieu of experience.

Successful candidates will be given opportunities to work with the most up-to-date technologies, directly contributing to delivering new solutions for the tool sets needed for 21st Century Policing. Development and training in role of successful candidates, as part of a Professional Development plan, is part of our philosophy.

Due to the nature of this role, a full, current UK/European driving licence is desired, and you must be able to work flexibly to suit the needs of the department; this includes travelling for business purposes and participating in a call-out rota.
The successful candidates will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
