West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a Digital Supply Chain Analyst to join a new team based within our new Digital Policing Directorate (formerly Information Technology) based in Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our Digital Innovation team as we embark on the implementation of a restructured Digital Policing function. In this role you will engage with technology suppliers, Partners and internal services and participate in supplier /vendor management, asset acquisition, physical asset life cycling and contract improvement initiatives, in order to maintain and develop the service provided by Digital Policing Directorate.

We are looking for candidates who have a related degree in IT or equivalent or those who have relevant and practical experience. Our ideal candidate will also come with experience of supplier/vendor management, with experience of IT contract and service management; negotiation, supplier road map development, performance analysis and general procurement rules and standards, as well as a demonstrable ability and experience of physical asset life cycling. Eligible candidates will also come with analytical and budget management skills and the ability to see discrepancies in information.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a full current UK/European driving licence, or have the ability to travel for business purposes.

The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
