An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.
As a Regional Fusion Tactical Advisor, you will provide tactical advice on dealing with the threat, risk and harm, following a major terrorist attack. You will also be responsible for managing the fusion cell that provides a fast time response to dealing with intelligence to mitigate the immediate threat, and will ensure training is delivered and maintained in order that deployment can be activated on live critical incidents.
This role would suit candidates who have proven ability at operating all computer systems including, Microsoft Products; who are willing to learn IT systems, and are able to train/coach individuals and act as a point of contact for system issues i.e. CLIO.
Eligible candidates will also come with experience of Project Management; excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate and control internal and external partners in an operational environment.
In addition, you must be prepared to work flexibly to suit the needs of the unit (which may include occasional out of hours cover) and be able to travel both regionally and nationally for business purposes.
The successful candidates must be British Citizens and will be subject to enhanced personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. For security reasons you should not discuss your application with anyone other than your immediate family.
