Senior Regional Analyst
Counter Terrorism Policing – North East (CTP NE)
Leeds
1 Permanent Post - 37 hours

An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.

In this role you will manage and coordinate the CTP-NE Research and Analysis function by leading the team of Researchers and Analysts to ensure that all appropriate resources are suitably focussed and utilised, to enable the most effective service to the unit.

You will co-ordinate the production of regular strategic, tactical and operational analytical and research products to support the Regional and National Control Strategy priorities, CT investigations and CT/OC priorities.

You will be educated to degree level or with the equivalent qualification or experience. You will also have significant proven experience in intelligence analysis.

Experience in communicating and engaging with a range of customers and stakeholders; a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to interrogate computerised databases is also essential.

You must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the CTP requirements and be willing and able to travel for business purposes and potentially to work for extended periods across or outside the NE region.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE.
