Applications are invited from Detective Constables who have completed their probationary period by the closing date of this advert.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.
As a member of the Investigations Team at CTP NE, you will, undertake proactive and reactive investigations in relation to serious and complex crime including terrorism offences committed in the UK or overseas.
In this role you will need to have successfully completed the CID Foundation Course or successfully completed the ICIDP, and have experience in the investigation of serious and complex crime.
You should be willing to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the department and have ability and willingness to travel for business purposes. It would also be advantageous if you are willing and able to work in unpleasant and contaminated environments
This will be a posting for West Yorkshire Police officers and a transfer or a secondment to the Regional Forces. Under a secondment you will require permission from your current Force in order to be eligible to apply.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE.
