Applications are invited from Constables who have completed their probationary period by the closing date of this advert.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.

As a member of the intelligence and operational management unit you will receive, assess, evaluate and when required develop intelligence, ensuring compliance with local and national policy. You will be responsible for controlling information and intelligence dissemination within the National Common Intelligence Application to both internal and external partners.

You will need to have relevant experience in an intelligence environment, along with previous experience of acquiring and analysing data.

It would also be useful if you have a good working knowledge of Special Branch procedures and/or National Security issues.

You should be willing to work flexible working hours and call-outs as required, and be willing and able to travel for business purposes throughout the UK.

This will be a posting for West Yorkshire Police officers and a secondment to the Regional Forces. As this is a secondment you will require permission from your current Force in order to be eligible to apply.
