This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Constable to join the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit (YHRCCU), working predominately in our dedicated, specialist Regional Digital Forensics Unit (R/DFU).

Working in collaboration with the National Cyber Crime Unit (part of the NCA), other Regional Organised Crime Units (ROCU) and Force Cyber/DFU teams you will plan and carry out reactive and proactive digital forensic investigations in order to detect, deter and disrupt the most serious incidents of computer and network based activity posing a regional and national threat.

Whilst previous experience in a cyber, DMI and /or DFU environment would be desirable it is not essential. However, a keen interest in the subject matter would be advantageous and help towards the completion of relevant advanced cyber and DF training courses.

Applications are welcome from officers with diverse backgrounds and this role is well suited to officers with an investigative and innovative mindset, someone with a keen interest in emerging trends, threats, methodologies, enablers and terminology.
