West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join the Regional Organised Crime Unit based in Wakefield.
In this role you will provide advice, assistance and support to police investigators in accountancy and auditing issues. This will include the analysis of financial data and preparation of evidence to identify and illustrate criminal aspects of cases under investigation, which you may be called upon to present at court.
To be considered for this role you must be AAT qualified and have a basic knowledge of auditing practice. You will also have a good working knowledge of and ability to operate computerised databases, including Microsoft Office, and spreadsheet packages.
In addition, due to the nature of this role you must either hold a full current UK/European driving licence, and/or be willing and able to travel for business purposes.
