Administration Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit in support of the fight against serious and organised crime. We are looking for an individual with enthusiasm, drive and a commitment to provide high quality administrative assistance to support the work of the Regional Economic Crime Unit. The position will be based in Wakefield and will be subject to advanced vetting.

In the role you will work closely with police officers and police staff from across the department to support investigations with the conversion of documents using specialist processing software, transcribing and typing documents and other department administrative duties.

The successful applicant will most likely have:

• Excellent typing skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous administrative experience
• Previous experience of operating Microsoft Office in a professional environment.
• Previous experience of working with financial information and documents.
