Applications are invited from Constables who have completed their 2 year probationary period by the closing date of this advert.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the five Roads Policing teams based at Bradford or Wakefield, successful candidates will be posted where operationally required at the time of being requested.

The Roads Policing role is both demanding and rewarding with a portfolio to complete while being mentored through your initial months. You will be provided with opportunities to upskill and develop as a Police officer while working towards Vision Zero and tackling criminality on the counties road network.

You will be a diligent and open minded investigator, someone who can remain calm under pressure, a sound decision maker and is confident both working alone and as part of a team. You will have good geographical knowledge of the Force area and an attention to detail along with being a champion of the Code of Ethics.

If successful at interview stage, officers will be required to attend Carr Gate for a 'check' drive and will be asked to confirm their current driving licence status and current penalty points.
