West Yorkshire Police, as the lead Force for the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Scientific Support Services, are looking to appoint Crime Scene Investigation Support Officers. We have two 18.5 hour vacancies at both Hull and Brigg in Humberside.

The ideal candidate will be required to support CSI officers in the management of day to day running of the department by processing and maintaining administrative records and information systems within a busy office environment.

The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated and have the ability to prioritise a varied workload. Have good interpersonal and communication skills, including experience of effectively engaging with a diverse range of people including both internal and external customers. A proven ability to operate modern technology, including desktop computers and basic software applications. They will have the ability to work independently and be focussed on the efficient and effective service to both the Region and Force.

In addition, you must hold a full current UK/European manual driving license and have a flexible, positive attitude to borderless working to ensure a full regional crime scene investigation service. You will also be required to complete a recognized manual handling course.
