The coroners officer is there as a direct link and liaison between HM Coroner, relatives of the deceased and other agencies dealing with sudden, violent, unnatural death or death within lawful custody.
A coroners support officer is an integral part of the coronial team, providing full administrative support to the coroners officers and the department to ensure they fulfil their statutory responsibilities. Support officers also provide and gather accurate and timely information together with guidance and support to bereaved people.
With proven administrative, IT and communication skills you will have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and handle complex and sensitive information with attention to detail.
