Nominal Management Case Management Officer
Counter Terrorism Policing North East

1 x 37 hour, permanent post

An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing based in the Sunderland area, this will include travelling across the North East.

In this role you will ensure that nominals of concern to the CT network are identified and managed through a process of intelligence development, research and investigation. You will ensure appropriate risk assessments are undertaken and nominals are subject to timely case management and intervention plans at the appropriate level. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in partnerships aimed at managing offenders.

You will have previous experience of successfully working within a multi-agency environment and of identifying proactive measures to manage offenders. In addition, you will have previous experience of formal risk management techniques and managing information or intelligence gathering techniques, with good communication and presentation skills in order to persuade and influence others to achieve goals.

You will need to have the ability to complete and pass defensive tactics training, hold a current UK/European driving licence, be willing and able to travel across the region and nationally for business purposes and be prepared to be rostered onto an on-call rota.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.

You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE. For security reasons you should not discuss your application with anyone other than your immediate family.
