Counter Terrorism Trainer
Counter Terrorism Policing North East (CTP NE)

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.

In this role, you will design, develop and deliver high quality learning and development (L&D) solutions for all staff of all ranks, throughout the CTP NE region. You will actively contribute to the Regional Forces preparedness and up to date awareness of the threat from all kinds of Terrorism and Terrorist acts.

The successful applicant will have a knowledge of Counter Terrorist investigative/intelligence/operational practice gained through personal experience or research, together with the ability to complete advanced Police accredited training and other nationally accredited training qualifications.

You must have the ability to deliver training on complex and sensitive issues within the Police and external partner agencies and have knowledge of current best practice within the Counter Terrorism field, gained through experience or research, to ensure that training is updated or replaced in line with changes in prevailing needs. In addition, you must have experience in the design and delivery of training and exercises, together with good communication and interpersonal skills.

You should be willing and able to travel across the region and nationally for business purposes, as well as being prepared to work flexible hours with minimal supervision.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to Security Clearance personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE.
