We have an exciting opportunity for a HOLMES Trainer and Quality Auditor within Protective Services Crime.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills and an aptitude for problem solving. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with indexing processes and procedures. You will design, develop and deliver training to all HOLMES users across West Yorkshire and on occasion to external forces / agencies. You will be responsible for auditing HOLMES accounts and ensuring all indexing complies with national standards.

You should have a minimum of two years experience as a HOLMES Indexer, have worked within an MIR (Major Incident Room) and have a detailed working knowledge of Casualty Bureau and NMAT (National Mutual Aid Telephony).

Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused on the grounds that it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
