One part-time permanent post (29:36 hours, 4 days per week)

West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a Firearms Enquiry Officer to join the Firearms Licensing team based at HQ Wakefield. The main purpose of the role is to provide an effective and efficient service relating to all firearms applications.

You should have good interpersonal and communication skills, including experience of engaging effectively with a diverse range of people. You will need the ability to prioritise your workload and be able to work using your own initiative.

You must be prepared to work flexibly to suit the requirements of the department. The role involves agile working covering Bradford and Calderdale districts predominantly, but you will be expected to cover other areas of the force where necessary. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence.
