Location: Halifax – 1 x 37 hrs (Permanent post)

West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a Business Support Assistant to join the Business Services Team at Halifax.

Business Support Assistants are required to provide an efficient and comprehensive clerical, financial and administrative support in accordance with Financial Regulations and Force Policies.

The post holder will carry out a wide range of customer service based tasks, including the processing of overtime claims, raising requests for a variety of equipment, receipting cash within the department account and assisting with approved contractors.

We are a small, enthusiastic and helpful team who take pride in providing a professional service for all our Police family colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, display great attention to detail and work well in a team environment.

Knowledge of office procedures, an ability to use computer systems such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and a willingness to work in other posts or locations (within reason) are also important in this role.
