The Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Organised Crime Unit are seeking to find an Intelligence Development Officer to join the Op Reveal team. The team work out of Rotherham with some agile working.

Op Reveal is dedicated to child safeguarding being at the forefront of Law Enforcement in this area of policing. The objective of the team is to prevent those seeking to offend against vulnerable children. This is a specialist unit providing specialist capabilities to the four forces within our region working closely with both national and international partners

To be considered, you will need to successfully complete security clearance and additional MV vetting before commencing the role.

Key responsibilities;-

Develops and evaluates intelligence; assessing threat, risk, harm, vulnerabilities and opportunities which exist and identifying gaps.

Ensuring that intelligence products are developed in line with the Op Reveal operating model, aligning to operational, SIO and stakeholder objectives

Prepare and deliver intelligence products to clearly and accurately inform decision making and providing advice on tactical options; identifying suspects, linked crimes and operational policing opportunities

Ensure relevant authorities are in place , review and update

Tasking management liaison with local forces
