1 Part Time Permanent Role (20 hours)

West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a Part Time Cluster Secretary to join the Business Services team at Carr Gate, Wakefield.

Within this role you will provide a comprehensive support function to a District/Departmental Senior Leadership Team.

This role will require you to be the first point of contact for Senior Leadership Team ensuring calls, messages and visitors are dealt with in a courteous and efficient manner. Maintaining and coordinating diaries, calendars and rotas are essential to the role, to ensure effective time management of the Senior Leadership Team. In addition, you will attend regular meetings ensuring accurate minutes and actions are logged, completed and updated accordingly.

Requirements of the role:

• Typing experience which will show a high level of accuracy and speed of no less than 30wpm.
• Ability to work as a part of a team
• Good knowledge of and ability to operate computerised software packages e.g., Microsoft Office.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills
