Applications are invited from substantive PCSOs who have completed their probationary period by the closing date of this advert.
Due to an increase in calls for service in relation to Off Road Motorbikes the need has arisen to formulate a team to manage this increase in demand.
The role sits within NPT working across all Kirklees Neighbourhood areas.
You will be proactive and have a working knowledge of relevant legislation and Force Policies and will have completed your OST and have an Off-Road Bike permit.
This is a challenging but rewarding and varied role, working in partnership with Neighbourhood teams and partners, and linking in with other police departments to improve outcomes in relation to the illegal use of Off-Road Bikes. You will tackle ASB and low-level criminality to reduce threat, risk and harm, whilst ensuring communities feel safe within Kirklees.
There are 2 positions available for enthusiastic PCSOs wanting to make a difference in this arena, working across the VSA shift pattern ensuring we have coverage across all NPT teams.
There is scope within the role for your own development and to deliver your own projects.

All applicants must have a valid PDR that meets the minimum required standard and must meet the attendance standard at closing date of this advert. Please note: If this role is a higher grade than your current role you MUST have an overall PDR rating of Successful Performer or above. Those with a PDR rating of Needs Improvement can apply for roles of the same grade or lower, those rated as Unacceptable are not eligible to apply for any roles.
