This role is an opportunity to join the Counter Corruption Unit within the Professional Standards Directorate. Based in Wakefield, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and investigating serious corruption involving Police Officers and members of Police Staff, preparing and managing files for CPS, IPOC and internal disciplinary procedures. You would be responsible for setting and maintaining standards throughout the force.

The work we do can be challenging, but extremely rewarding, and there are opportunities to gain new skills and experience in a specialist area of proactive policing.

We are seeking candidates who are motivated, victim focussed, proactively minded and display high standards of professional behaviour - in particular, those who are able to build and maintain professional relationships across the Force and with partners.

In addition, you will have experience in the investigation of serious and complex crime and will be able to demonstrate your ability to take initiative as well as a proactive approach to the investigation of serious crime.

This application is also open to Detective Constables only.

To be considered for this position, you must have a full current UK/European driving license and be able to travel/work as required. The role will be based in Wakefield and core shifts will be Monday to Friday, although successful candidates must be prepared to be flexible to meet operational demand. The successful candidates will be subject to vetting requirements.
