Senior Digital Applications Support Analyst

An opening has emerged for a part-time Senior Digital Applications Support Analyst to join the Digital Policing Directorate based at Wakefield to work 16 hours per week covering Mondays and Tuesdays.
In this role, your responsibilities will include co-ordinating technical resources in the maintenance and integrity of systems and data contained therein, and participating in improvement initiatives and adoption and change control processes, in order to maintain and develop the service provided by the Digital Policing Directorate.
To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in computer studies or equivalent or relevant training suitable to the role.
You must also have previous experience of managing systems/applications to meet Service Level Agreement targets and have demonstrated ability to support or manage a computer infrastructure (similar to West Yorkshire Police's) and services for customers in order to assist them carrying out their roles.
In addition, there is an expectation that you will work flexible hours to suit the needs of the department which includes participating in a call-out rota and that you will have the ability to travel and work throughout the Force.
The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
