West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a Crime Management Investigator to work in the Economic Crime Unit based in Wakefield.

In this exciting role, you will conduct a focused and robust approach to reports of crime and intelligence. We need you to provide a high standard of crime investigation and management, applying current policy and make robust and effective decisions. You will report on your findings and inform operational decisions to meet the organisational response to the needs of the victim, ensuring an effective and efficient service is delivered.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a current or previous investigative background as well as good communication skills both verbally and in writing. You must be able to use various computer packages including Microsoft Office and able to successfully complete Niche and related courses. To succeed in this role you must be capable of becoming an Accredited Financial Intelligence Officer (FIO).

In addition, you will hold a full current UK/European driving licence, work flexibly to suit business needs and travel to, and work in different areas of the Force as required. The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
