DBS Disclosure Assistant

An opening has emerged for a DBS Disclosure Assistant to join the Information Management team within Digital Policing. In this role, you will be responsible for the processing of all DBS requests, providing an effective and efficient disclosure service to the Disclosure and Barring Service, carrying out checks on local and national police systems in compliance with legislation and the Quality Assurance Framework.
To apply for this role you must have the ability to use a range of computerised packages, such as Microsoft Office. This role requires a successful candidate to have a basic knowledge of researching information, having had experience of office systems and procedures and a basic knowledge of Data Protection.
To be considered for this role you must be willing and able to undertake and successfully complete relevant IT training on West Yorkshire Police systems, and be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the Department.
