An opening has emerged for a Safeguarding Clerical Officer to join the Bradford District Child Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub based at Sir Henry Mitchell House.

In this role you will provide a full clerical service to the Unit and liaise with victims; statutory agencies and voluntary agencies. When required you will also provide and maintain up to date information on various computer systems.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills, as well as a sound working knowledge of computerised systems and packages, such as Microsoft Office.

We also need a candidate who is able to work unsupervised; can prioritise their daily workload, and is able to competently work on their own initiative on a regular basis.

To be considered for this challenging opportunity, it is essential that you are able to deal with the effects of crime; including dealing with distressed victims and the emotional impact of extremely sensitive issues such as child and adult sexual abuse.

You must also be able to undertake and pass relevant training on West Yorkshire Police computerised databases, and be able to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the department.

The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
