West Yorkshire Police is seeking to appoint a Income Development Officer on a secondment basis to cover maternity leave.

This is a diverse and exciting role, as you will be helping the force to generate income from external and innovative sources.

We are looking for an individual with the passion and determination to explore, evaluate and present business ideas. An effective communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly in writing, we are looking for an individual with the passion and determination to deliver results. You will need to be able to explore, evaluate and prepare business cases.

This varied role also includes working with the operational support units, liaising with film productions companies, securing sponsorships and writing funding bids. Working as part of the Income and Partnerships Team, you will be responsible for your own portfolio of projects.

With a degree, and or proven experience in the fields of expertise, you will be a methodical, committed member of the team.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to provide occasional work outside of normal office hours and have the ability to work across West Yorkshire, and travel to meetings and events nationally as required.

The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
