YP62 Expressions of Interest - Prosecution Team Officers

£22,668 - £24,759 per annum/pro rata
Expressions of interest are required from experienced Prosecution Team Officers to be seconded to one of the non-recent complex Child Sexual Exploitation investigations.
As a Prosecution Team Officer you will be responsible for preparing the disclosure schedules for a large scale investigation and will provide pre-charge and post-charge support to the investigation team, the Complex Case Unit lawyer and Counsel.
You will be dealing with cases of a sexual nature where the offending is against children and therefore you will need resilience to be able to deal with this crime type.
Due to the size of the enquiry, the investigations are currently being run on the Clio system. For those not familiar with the Clio system, full training will be provided.
You must be able to work closely with Investigating Officers and the wider Investigation Team to build a complex case file. You must have an organised and methodical approach to work and be able to review large amounts of material.
The incidents rooms are based at Dewsbury and Eccleshill Police Stations and where possible agile working will be allowed.
There are two vacancies at Dewsbury and one at Eccleshill.
The tenure for this secondment is likely to be for a 12 month period but this may be extended subject to agreement.
