CTP NE IT Manager – Technical and Programme
Counter Terrorism Policing – North East (CTP NE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing.

Managing a small team, you will act as CTP NE professional lead on all aspects of the management of IT projects, as well as day to day IT delivery solutions. You will support Regional and Departmental objectives by providing strategic and professional advice to deliver IT solutions resulting in organisational change in order to achieve Unit goals, add value and deliver effective and efficient services.

You must have proven experience as a manager with strategic responsibilities as well as a degree or relevant qualification in IT or Management or relevant experience. In addition, you must have the proven ability to achieve results by leading, motivating, developing and directing staff.
Experience in the delivery of a portfolio of major projects through project cycle from concept design to completion, programme management at a senior level in a complex, dynamic environment and a qualification in MSP and/or Prince 2 is essential.

You must have a willingness and ability to travel for business purposes and be the holder of a full UK Driving Licence. In addition, you must have a willingness to work flexible hours to meet CTP requirements.
