This is an exciting opportunity to join the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit in support of the fight against serious and organised crime. We are looking for an individual with enthusiasm, drive and a commitment to assist in delivering a regional prevent protect strategy against the threat of money laundering and economic crime. The position will be based in Wakefield and will be subject to advanced vetting. All applicants must check they meet the essential elements of the role profile before submitting an application.

This is an excellent and unique opportunity to join the regional economic crime unit command in the fight against serious organised crime. In this role, you will work across law enforcement, education and private industry to delivery prevent and protect strategies aimed at mitigating the threat from money laundering and other economic crime trends. Your work will be undertaken in partnership with colleagues from across the Regional Organised Crime Unit and other law enforcement partnerships to reduce the threat. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and an ability to develop professional networks. Previous experience and a knowledge of money laundering and economic crime threats and typologies is desirable.

The successful candidate must be prepared to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements and be willing to travel regularly across the region and throughout the UK.

You should hold a full UK/European driving license.

The successful candidate will be subject to advanced personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
