West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a Vehicle Cleaner/ Valeter to join the Transport Vehicle Workshop to provide a general vehicle cleaning/valeting service for the Force ensuring vehicles are kept at an acceptable standard in terms of cleanliness and condition.

You will also maintain the parking facility at the unit to ensure safety and best use to meet business requirements.

The suitable candidate will need to hold a full and current UK/European driving licence and be capable of passing a D1 authority driving licence test and the Police Driving Test – including light vans.

Willingness to work in any post appropriate to the grade at such other place within the Force as may be reasonably required.

In addition, you must be physically capable of undertaking the duties of the post which include heavy lifting and carrying, and you must be able to pass an eyesight test.

This post is suitable for job share. The application process will close at 23.55 hours on 29th March 2019.
