West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a permanent Facial Imaging Officer. You will provide an effective and efficient support to Regional Scientific Support Services by interviewing witnesses/victims throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region, in order to produce composite facial images.

You will also be required to produce artist’s impressions, age progression, Body Mapping and anatomical illustrations, for use by Investigating Officers in criminal investigations. This role is based at Calder Park, Wakefield, with the opportunity of some agile working.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Regional Scientific Support Imaging Unit, dealing with around 800 requests per year for the Yorkshire and Humber regions.
