1 full time post, 37 hours per week
1 job share post, 18 hours 30 minutes per week working an 8 week pattern of 5 weeks Thursday/Friday, 2 weeks Wednesday to Friday and 1 week Thursday to Sunday

An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.

In this role you will provide support using the HOLMES computer system in the investigation of Major enquiries.

You will be required to:

• Use a secure, bespoke system as well as complete training to use policing systems
• Be capable of successfully completing a full HOLMES Course.
• Have basic knowledge of and ability to use computer packages such as Word Processing and Spreadsheets.

You must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the CTP requirements and willing to work with in the UK wherever required as part of a Regional and National response. This role also includes weekend working.

The posts involve working a rota pattern including weekends for which you will receive relevant weekend enhancement. For the full time post, this will be 1 week in every 4 weeks and for the job share post it is 1 week in every 8 weeks.

As this is a Career Progression Scheme, candidates may be considered to start further along the progression scheme, if they possess the requisite experience and knowledge.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.

You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE.
