Vetting Officer

We are seeking to appoint a Vetting Officer to join the Force Vetting Unit based at Brighouse. In this role, you will support the Force Vetting Officer in protecting the organisation by the provision of an effective vetting service which complies with the Vetting Code of Practice.
The successful candidate will be required to have the ability to complete and pass relevant courses for the role, and have the ability to extract, analyse and identify any gaps in information from a number of sources. Previous office / administration experience, and basic knowledge of an ability to operate computer systems such as Microsoft Office is essential.
You will be able to work at other locations throughout the Force as required, and must be willing and able to travel throughout the Force for business purposes. You will also be subject to advanced personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
