In this new and exciting role you will work as part of an investigative team to undertake directed enquiries and provide support in relation to investigations.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who already have experience of working on investigation and intelligence cases, and have a working knowledge of the appropriate legislation.

We need you to come with a good command of English both verbal and written and use IT systems used for intelligence purposes.

You must be able to successfully complete National Accreditation relevant to current posting – Skills for Justice and demonstrate an up to date knowledge of law in relation to investigation of serious crime including RIPA, ECHR, CPIA and PACE.

This is a challenging role, so we are looking for an Advanced Investigative Officer who is prepared to work flexibly which may include working from different locations across the Regional area. In addition, you must hold a full current UK/European driving licence and travel for business purposes.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE.
