1 permanent part-time post: 22 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a PNC Validation Officer to join the PNC Bureau. Based at Wakefield, this will involve the processing of information within the Police National Computer (PNC). This will include responsibility for the accurate input of data onto the system, the creation and update of records, and the extraction and validation of data.

To be considered for this role, a good working knowledge of computerised databases is essential. You must also be capable of successfully completing relevant IT courses. In addition, you must have a keen eye for identifying data errors and for recognising inconsistencies in information.

As one of our PNC Validation Officers, you must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the section.

Once trained and fully competent, agile working will be considered.
