West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a People Services Assistant to provide comprehensive, customer focused clerical and administrative support to the People function within the People Directorate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in joining a People Services team. In this role you will provide comprehensive, customer focused clerical and administrative support to the People Services function within the West Yorkshire Police People Directorate.

The successful candidate will maintain and update the People Services information systems to ensure information held is correct and up to date, process and co-ordinate accurately all resignations, retirements, maternity leave, paternity leave and career breaks, provide People services related administration and clerical support to the People Directorate to ensure performance is maintained in accordance with Force Policy and ensure a professional customer centric service is provided to the People Directorate in a timely manner.

To be able to perform this role at the outset, it will be essential for you to have a proven ability to perform clerical and administrative tasks, and can show an aptitude for computer based work.
We currently have a vacancy which may be based at Leeds or Bradford.
