West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a Server and Storage Analyst to join a team assisting in the support of over 5,000 fixed and mobile devices with access to central services supporting over 9,000 users. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and maintaining operating systems and Data Centre scale infrastructures. In addition, you will participate in supporting a large range of physical and virtual infrastructures along with associated storage and networking. 

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in Computer Studies or equivalent or will have proven relevant experience. You will also come with a production mind-set, with a demonstrated belief in the management of services for customers using facts and processes, and the primary importance of supporting the customers to do their jobs.

Candidates must have previous experience of supporting operating systems and be willing to be seconded to any area of the Digital Policing Directorate to work on improvement projects or in support duties.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to participate in a call-out rota and will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
