Safeguarding Central Governance Unit

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join the Safeguarding Central Governance Unit based in Bradford.
The successful applicant will create, update and maintain accurate intelligence records relating to Sex Offenders registered on various computer systems for West Yorkshire.
You will liaise with other agencies in order to develop accurate intelligence and ensure the appropriate exchange of information.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Experience of handling, researching or managing data and a good working knowledge of computerised systems and databases is essential.
You will also have the ability to type 35 words per minute and have previous office experience.
In addition you will have a full current UK/European driving licence or the ability to travel around the Force area.
The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
