We are looking to appoint a Senior Digital Data Assessor based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a Counter Terrorism Policing Team.

You will implement and maintain a specialist Data Review service, ensuring a Team of Digital Data Assessors and other resources are deployed safely and effectively, in line with legislation, policy and best practice to support regional, national and international Counter Terrorism policing and partner agencies.

You will possess a thorough working knowledge and expertise of common operating systems, applications, basic network technologies and internet technologies with proven experience and/or training in a relevant field e.g. media reviewing, analytical skills, interpretation of data, navigation and use of Microsoft products.

You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent qualifications or experience relevant to the role and have a good understanding of social media and the ability to effectively manage and navigate the internet.

The successful candidate will have an aptitude for problem solving, in a methodical and orderly manner, with an ability to work under pressure, make critical decisions and work to tight schedules/deadlines, multitasking to include the updating of relevant computer systems.

Additionally, you must have a physical and emotional resilience to deal with abusive and offensive images, of extreme violence, obscenity and depravity.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.

You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE. For security reasons you should not discuss your application with anyone other than your immediate family.
