West Yorkshire Police is looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join their small team in the Professional Standards Department Helpdesk.

The successful candidates will Provide clerical and administrative support to the department. Responsible for accurately recording and extracting information from various databases. Providing advice and assistance to all stakeholders.

Candidates should have a basic knowledge of and ability to operate computer databases and the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.

The post is suitable for job share.

For roles which are advertised as Career Progression Schemes, individuals will be appointed to the bottom scale point of the appropriate grade within the scheme, based on the role entry requirements. Full progression through the scheme may be subject to attaining a specific qualification or successfully passing an assessment or review.
