The Yorkshire & Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of administration assistant within the Regional Organised Crime Unit, Wakefield.

As an Administration Assistant you will work within an established team of police officers & police staff and will be responsible for accurately recording, disseminating, and extracting information from various sources to support national Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) & Law Enforcement authorities (LEA) frameworks in addition to ensuring compliance with regional and national ROCU performance reporting frameworks.

Duties will include:

•Timely and accurate recording of information utilising Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams & SharePoint.

•Management of several mailboxes.

•Administrative support to meetings, including use of PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.

•Recording tasks and disseminating the meeting minutes.

•As well as a range of various other administrative tasks to support a range of departments within the ROCU.


The ideal candidate will have administrative experience and have excellent written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to operate computerised databases.
