We have an exciting opportunity working for Counter Terrorism Policing within the Fixed Intelligence Management Unit. We want someone who enjoys working as part of team, but also has the self-motivation to work independently.

As a member of the Intelligence Team, you will be responsible for the management of the receipt, assessment, dissemination and development of intelligence. You will manage the Intelligence Management Unit ensuring intelligence is managed in line with policy and standards. This will include supervising the initial police assessment of all information entering the CTP NE, in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with the National Standards of Intelligence Management (NSIM).

To be considered for this position you will need to be able to answer yes to the following questions:

• Do you have a detailed understanding of the recording, grading and handling of intelligence?

• Do you have experience in crime management?

• Do you have knowledge of intelligence management with a good understanding of the National Intelligence Model (NIM)?

• Do you hold a full, current driving licence and are willing to travel and work across the North East Region and outside the Region if required?

If you have answered yes to these questions then this role could be for you.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment and developed level personal and financial vetting checks after appointment.

You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE. For security reasons you should not discuss your application with anyone other than your immediate family.
