West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a PNC Officer based in the PNC Bureau, Wakefield. We need you to provide a comprehensive update and extraction service for the Force in relation to the Police National Computer including an International alert service between West Yorkshire Police and other EU and non-EU countries, complying with MOPI legislation.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a good working knowledge of computerised databases and be capable of successfully completing IT courses required for the role. Additionally, you will need a good eye for detail and be able to recognise inconsistencies in information.

As one of our PNC Officers, you must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the department, and be able to work unsupervised on a shift rota covering 24 hours, 365 days a year following the FSDR shift pattern.

The role is suitable for agile working. Once trained and competent, the successful applicant will be able to apply for agile working from home.

This post is suitable for job share and will attract 20% shift allowance plus weekend enhancements.
