An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing to conduct and provide strategic, tactical and operational analysis in support of Counter Terrorism Policing objectives and produce analytical products using a range of analytical tools and methods, to support the decision making process for a range of CTP customers, internally and externally.
You will be educated to degree level or with the equivalent qualification or experience in an intelligence/research background. You will also have previous experience of analysing complex data accurately with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to interrogate computerised databases.
You will have excellent communication skills both oral and written and be able to work in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be willing and able to attain Intelligence Professionalisation Programme (IPP) certification in line with the role.
You must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the CTP requirements and willing to work within the UK wherever required as part of a Regional and National response.

You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE. For security reasons you should not discuss your application with anyone other than your immediate family.
Individuals will normally be appointed to the bottom scale point, of the appropriate grade, within the Career Progression Scheme based on the role entry requirements. However, appointment can be made to a higher scale point if qualifications, skills and experience are commensurate with a higher point, this is subject to appropriate approval.
