West Yorkshire Police is looking to appoint a Communications Data Investigator based in Wakefield.

In this exciting role, you will act as an accredited Single Point of Contact to receive, research and evaluate the information flow between SIOs, Investigating Officers and Telecoms Operators, and direct the communications strategy.

The post holder will also facilitate and assist the investigation of crime and the prevention of death or injury, and provide advice and guidance as appropriate, whilst remaining within the confines of legislation.

The successful candidate would be required to take part in a 24/7 shift rota and will come with excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to work independently and prioritise work in a high pressured environment.
