West Yorkshire Police as the lead Force for the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Scientific Support Services (RSSS) are looking to recruit an additional Systems Administrator to be based at Calder Park, Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in implementing a new forensics case management system. Working within the established Accreditation & Standards team and alongside the current Systems Administrator and IT Project Manager you will assist in the implementation, delivery and support of the new Case Management System.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of database administration and validation gained through the support and interrogation of computerised management systems. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication and people skills to provide an essential link between the system users, IT colleagues, third party suppliers and relevant key stakeholders to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective service to Police Forces in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Knowledge and experience in supporting computer infrastructure systems is required; whilst experience of project delivery would be beneficial as the role will require adherence to timescales and project priorities.
