One permanent full-time position of 37 hours

Looking to join a fast-paced team providing 2nd/3rd line IT Application support? A vacancy has arisen within the Application Support Team at West Yorkshire Police within the Digital Policing Directorate.

Providing expert knowledge, support, and maintenance to systems and integrity of the data contained therein to associated service levels of the managed applications. To participate in improvement initiatives, adoption and change control processes; and actively supports all production functions providing advice and guidance on record and system management.

What you will need:
• Proven experience supporting a large range of systems, applications, and technologies hosted on Physical, virtual or Cloud infrastructure.
• Substantial experience, skill, and competency in supporting a large computer infrastructure (inc.T-SQL, Powershell)
• Production mind-set - demonstrated belief in the management of services for customers, using facts and processes, and the primary importance of supporting the customers to do their jobs.
• Degree in Computer Studies OR equivalent OR relevant experience.
• Knowledge of System and User Acceptance Testing.
• Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent frameworks.
• Willingness and ability to participate in a call-out rota.
• Ability and willingness to travel for business purposes
