West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a Researcher to join a small team responsible for the enforcement of existing confiscation orders and identification and investigation of new assets identified that could be used to settle outstanding benefit.

The successful candidate will provide an efficient research service to meet the needs of the District/Department, identify and use the most appropriate products and techniques to support operational staff and enable management to make informed operational decisions.

Applicants must have an experience of research and analysing data, a good knowledge of, and ability to operate computerised databases with experience within an intelligence environment.

The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work in a high pressure environment and adhere to tight deadlines.

As we cover the seven forces of the North East RECU, you must be willing and able to work at any district/unit within the force, and you may be required to travel within the area.
