We are looking to recruit a temporary, part time (18.5 hours per week) Regional Forensic Services Support Officer to join the Regional Scientific Support Services team based at Calder Park in Wakefield, for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Forensic Services Support Officers provide support to the Regional Forensic Services Unit in relation to financial expenditure and additional administrative matters in order to help maximise the effective use of forensic science by the four Forces of the Yorkshire and Humber region.

We are looking to recruit an individual who has excellent communication skills, has the ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and will already possess a detailed knowledge of computerised databases and software packages specifically Excel.

Candidates must also have excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to prioritise their work load to deliver service provision that meets customer requirements.
